Wild Amazon Parrots, primarily, Red Crowned and some Lilac Crowned, have escaped their confines to establish what have now become large flocks in various parts of San Diego County. These birds are members of a flock of several hundred birds that frequent Lindo Lake County Park, in Lakeside,just east of San Diego.
