I haven't had the benefit of working on this image as I am off visiting on Vancouver Island.This was the scene we encountered 1/2 hour after leaving the airport,heading down island from Comox to Ladysmith.The air ambulance had landed on the highway to airlift a trucker who had sailed off the highway into a ravine in the centre between the lanes.20 foot drop ...not so good.We were stopped for about an hour as the rescuers got down the ravine to get him out.If he survives,this air ambulance may have played a major role.
