I knew the forecast would be rain most of our time on the coast and I didn't want to lug my camera bag around in this weather plus chance damaging my new Canon 70D so a smaller compact camera was going to have to do for the most part.A Christmas gift from my wife was a nice Fujifilm camera.Although I did use my 70D on occasion,I was quite impressed with the capabilities of the Fujifilm camera and for most of our visit to Vancouver and then onto Vancouver Island this was the camera I used.I wanted a camera that I could just slip in my pocket and this fit the bill allowing for manual override whenever desired and a fairly effective zoom.
