A modern tribute to vintage Bronica S2A,EC,EC-TL,ETR-S, SQ-A, and GS-1 models. I've used these professionally for 25+ years before switching to digital. Now I have repurchased some of the equipment that I sold and the images shown in this album are 2016 or newer. Some films are old and outdated, used only for fun. But fun is what it's all about. (This is only the beginning)
Many photographs will be duplicated here, the purpose is to compare lenses and films. In the short time that I've started this venture I've found that film has improved in the years I was shooting digital. These images are scanned between 3600-4800dpi, good enough to print to 30x30" with little or no grain. Using a MF camera is not as convienent as using a DSLR but it's a rewarding experience. I hope others blow the dust off their old cameras and start using them again.
Some nice shots here. I acquired an SQ-A circa 2006 and have enjoyed working with what I couldn't afford (or at least justify) back when it was in production. Periodic GAS attacks have added more lenses and other trinkets than I originally planned, but I'm enjoying it. In medium format I've since added two folders and a TLR to "the collection."
