Cape Naturaliste, Australia

The perfect setting. Surfers in the distance to my right cutting up the waves, no one on the beach except us. Tripod ready, Grad NDs ready to hold the sun back. It was impossible to reduce the flare during the shot as I was shooting directly into the sun but I decided not to airbrush it out, as it 'points' through the rocks to the beach. I feel it acutally enhances the image.

Canon EOS 5D ,Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM
30s f/22.0 at 35.0mm iso50 ND8 + 3stop GND on the sky full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto
