I find Tropical islands quite difficult to photograph in an original way. Often there is just plane hazy sky, and beaches with palm trees generally end up looking like postcards. La Digue in the Seychelles is the place to break that mould and is easily the most photogenic tropical island we have had visited. The carved boulders surrounding the island make it a very special place - it's got to be my joint favourite tropical island..
