This is probably my most favorite place to enjoy and to capture the soul and spirit of the beauty of nature. I am anxiously waiting to see if the rains will stop here and the weather will get cold enough for the maples to turn color and adorn the 2,000 acres of Lost Maples State Natural Area. The color of the maple leaves are tucked away waiting for the cold winter to paint a landscape of color. With little adjustment of levels I am able to peek at the color there. I hope to bring you one like this soon. Until then this will have to do.
