This was the best birthday present imagineable. I turned 40 this past December, and Galina made it happen in style. We spent 6 days, the 25th to 30th, right in the middle of Paris. We stayed at Hotel Delavigne, next to the Latin Quarter, and apart from a single cab ride and a few metro rides, we walked everywhere (we were about 35 miles on foot altogether). And Paris is so rich with things to see, we only sampled a small bit of what we could walk to. We never even made it into the Louvre!
