We thoroughly enjoyed looking at all of your Cameroon albums. Very well captured. We lived in Kumbo town for most of the 15 years we spent in Cameroon. We worked at BBH. Hope to see it all again next month. Who knows - our paths might even cross? Best wishes, Marlis and Dieter Lemke

Thank you for making pictures of Bafut available. Our daddy is reading Gerald D's Bafut Beagles to us and we decided to try and find a picture of the Fon online. Yours were perfect!

We are 7 and (almost) 5 and we live in a forest in the Japanese countryside.

I was in Mefou a few weeks ago. I visited the CWAF site and from what people told me, it is going from strength to strength. The gorillas and one armed baboon certainly looked familiar. Good luck to the volunteers there, they are doing an impressive thing.

Thanks for the great photos.. I lived in the Fon's guest house for two months in 1965 before moving on to Mamfe...One of the Fon's son's had died and a "cry-die" ensued for several weeks during which time I and my fellow peace corps members helped the fon grieve with several bottles of Johnny Walker.
