Lake Powell

These photos are from a trip to Lake Powell for a family reunion in June of 2009. We rented a houseboat from Forever Resorts at Antelope Point Marina. While on the lake, one of the engines died on the houseboat, but the Marina sent a mechanic out to meet us on both days and gave us a significant discount on the rental after the trip. Despite the trouble, we had a great time and were very pleased with the way the rental company handled the situation. Both on the way to and from Page, we stopped at many scenic places in Colorado, Utah, and Arizona.

We discovered Lake Powell by accident driving from the Grand Canyon...unfortunately had only 1 day available before flying home.By the looks of your fantastically captured gallery,a week on a houseboat is the way to go.Next time!Thanks for sharing!
