Hi Rian, Your talent is absolutely stunning! I have a website client that is looking for a panoramic view of Longs peak. You have a couple that would be suitable. The intent is to brag on the fact that the business is located in Colorado. We would use it as a header photo across the top of the page. Please let me know what your standard compensation would be for this type of usage. Thank You for sharing such a variety of incredible views of Colorado and beyond. Phil
Outstanding galleries shot with a great eye for beauty, composition and finishing touch.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the lovely photos of horses in the snow. May I please use one of them in a children's talk I'm giving at church?
Thank you for posting and sharing these beautiful photos! They cheered me up.
I would like to purchase a digital image of Longs Peak with Bear Lake in the foreground. I intend to print the image on a sheet of vinyl for wall mounting.
Thanks so much for sharing your talent. I lived in Silverthorne for about five years and moved back to North Carolina and these photos really take me back. Colorado is a breathtaking place and you captured so many of those images. Great job, I hope to see more.
Rian..love your style and composition of every photo! I really enjoy your photos. Well done!
Wow! I am in awe of your great tallent! Your photo's are beautiful
I enjoy travel and photography but your quality and volume make me humble. As a new CO resident I am enjoying finding the many beautiful sights.
Nice gallery! Love looking at the Colorado images and recognizing many of the places we've been to. you have a good eye! Keep it up!
Beautiful COLORADO images, love your galleries! Well done!
You're not at all "amateur"!
I was wondering how I can purchase one of your photos. Do you have a list of sizes and prices?
You are a great photographer! And just started taking pictures in 2002! You have a great eye for taking pictures. Hope you put up more of Colorado. Such a pretty state.
Those are incredible pictures. This hobby sure beats writing code. I'll shoot you an email.
From your college roommate...
Hi Rian I would like to use your donkey image on my website - factzoo dot com if possible I am going to make wild ass page.
Hi, I was born and raised in Denver and I have never heard of the Paint Mines. I know that I am going to check them out this spring.
We're starting a rowing camp on Lake Dillon this summer and are hoping to use 2 of your Dillon photos on our website and in our marketing materials.
We can discuss compensating you: flat fee, based on web hits, etc.
Hi Rian! I loved your pics! I'm planning to do the Kilimanjaro trip and I saw you did it with Zara tours. Could you tell me please how it was? Can I trust them? Is it safe? Would be great if you could send me some feedback! You have been all over the world! That's awesome! Congrats for the wonderful pictures. Thanks, Renata

May I use your Balanced Rock photo for a new member postcard for First United Methodist Church? I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Jared
One word. Brilliant.
Hi Rian: Your pictures are fantastic. I would love to get a price for some of the waterfall pictures. Email me back. Thanks, Aleesa
I am not a mamber of PBase and have only discovered it within the last 3 weeks. There have been a number of photographers and associated galleries that have really impressed me, that was, until I came accross your work!
You would have to be one of the most talanted photographers I have ever seen. Your galleries are more that outstanding, they are simply magnificant in every aspect. I don't think I saw a single photo that did not inspire me. A special thankyou for telling us what the photos are and where they were taken. It is something very important for me (living in Australia), so many PBase photographers do not bother to tell people where the photos were taken and just what they are of. They assume (I think) that because they know what they are, that everybody else does as well.
I have only been to Hawaii in the USA, but after spending the last couple of days engrossed in your photographic masterpieces, I feel the I have just finished a tour of the USA mainland....and it did not cost me anything!!!! Thank you so very much for sharing you work and your wonderful talent. I wish you all the very best for the future.
Bob Sandercock.....South Australia
did you make it to the top of the volcano. great photo. chase daly age 6
Vos photos sont de grande qualité !!!
Your photography is breathtaking! I just completed a photography class and it's great to see all the rules at play to make gorgeous pictures (instead of my goofy attempts). Keep up the great work. I'm very impressed!!
My name is Doug Sternberg. I work for Rhode island Monthly magazine. We are currenlty working on an article titled "Getaways" and one of those destinations is Nederland, CO. If you have any pictures of Nederland in your archives, we would love to take a look at them and possibly use one. Please respond to my e-mail address at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your time.
MY BROTHER DIED IN 1998 UP AROUND MAROON BELLS AND WE USE YOUR PICTURE AS A MEMORIAL TO THIM THE ONE WITH MIRROR IMAGES. DO YOU HAVE A BOOK OUT? MY FRIENDS IN ARIZONA HAD ASKED IF YOU HAD THESE TOGETHER FOR SALE.
I love your horses in the snow. Are they available to buy. I am in Australia
How do I purchase one of your photos?

I'm totally speechless. Good stuff.
Rian, I find a lot of interest in your galleries. I grew up in MI, live in MA for and while, and have lived in either WY or CO for the last 27 years! We cover a lot of the same territory.

Hey Ryan, thanks for the comments on my pics. Checked out your galleries. Great work. Cheers :)
Have enjoyed spending time looking thru your Zion and Bryce Canyon gallery Rian.
The Hoodoos are particularly interesting.
Rian: Thanks for viewing my Bisti Gallery. The arch you were referring to is small. About ten feet long and a few feet high and & wide. It is interesting, but not overwhelming. I didn't make it very far in there because of my age and time restrictions. Bill Mahan
Never see this beautiful Utah picture before. I will go there soon. Very beautiful and thank you very much for sharing your pictures.
Rian: Great tribute to Colorado! It is nice to see such strong foregrounds and overall great compositions. Not many photographer have hiked off the beaten paths like you have. Great job. Joanna

tres jolies photos! merci pour le voyage.
What a great site
Beautiful photos...thanks for sharing.
Enjoyed a lot!
I really enjoyed your galleries; such Beautiful pics.
I'm preparing a talk on Michigan sand dunes for the ICAR (International Conference on Aeolian Research) meeting in a week and a half and have decided that a photo of a perched dune at Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore would help pep it up visually. I do not have a good photo myself. One of my co-authors has worked at Sleeping Bear and I've asked him for a image. However he is in the field right now and in case he does not get the message I'm looking for a backup. Your photo would work well and I'm wondering if I could use it. I would use it only one time for a presentation at a scientific conference: there are no commercial ramifications.
Thanks for considering this,
Great photos ! Thanks for posting. We were married in the park, and are now living in Germany. We miss it, but these shots keep the memories fresh. Thanks!
Rian, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly where I took this. I took about 200 photos. I remember that it was looking back (toward the parking area) from one of the "public" viewing areas, however.
Some very nice colourful pictures. Well done.
Rian, thanks for stopping by and leaving comments on my gallery, I appreciate that.
I have truly enjoyed your galleries: nicely composed with delicate colors and texture. I just added Colorado on my places to visit because of sceneries you have wonderfully captured in your galleries. Keep up great work. Rgds, Andrey
Thank you for comment, that's a real compliment coming from you!
I love your galleries, absolutely stunning. I feel inspired!
Amazing work! Keep on sharing as you are inspirational!
Your photos are spectacular!
You have a wonderful sense of composition and use high contrast to focus the eye to your subject. Your photos really move me and look like the scenes I would love to paint. It captures everything I love best about Colorado. I now live on the West coast, so the ocean is my current passion, but someday I will paint your majestic peaks and reflective lakes. Visit my web to see what I do at www.LeasureFineArt.com Keep up the fantastic work!!!
Thank you so very much for the wonderful comments on my bridges photo.
Hello Rian; Like they say, it's what's behind the camera that really counts. You have done your homework whether it be a portrait, macro or landscape. They are all so nice. And the C-5060 ain't bad either. That one and the c-5050 are my all time faverorites.
Great site guys.
Hi Rian, Just like to compliment you on some beautiful galleries. You have a very good eye for capturing the moment. Keep up the good work and by the way thanks for stopping by my gallery last year.

Really enjoyed your photos.Came across them as I have just started doing my mother's side for the family tree. She was also a Houston.
Brian, you knocked my socks off with each image. These are samples that distinguish a snapshooter and a true artist!
Will be looking for more real photographs through your eyes and equipment.
You sure get around! I wish I could visit all those great places!! Great Shots!
I just visited your Colorado gallery and want to tell you how much I enjoyed it. You have some extraordinarily beautiful photos. Colorado is one of my favorite places, and I just spent the summer of 2005 there. I'd love to spend even more time and get the four seasons as you have.
could you please contact me. Thanks in advance
Rian. Thanks you for visiting an commenting on my panoramic gallery. I also went through you galleries and think that you have some outstanding quality images. I like your light perception.

Hi im your fan! great shots you have had!
I have some comments.
Much better if you use the rules of thirds when taking people.
Keep Up the good work!
Great shots. Had the opportunity to be in Colorado that same week and enjoyed a wonderful time.
Here is a website that you might find interesting. There are a bunch a good photographers and they exchange some good information.
It's free and check the forum area for the different picture categories.
I enjoyed your galleries very much. Glad to have discovered them. I've added you to my favorite artists and will watch for updated galleries.
Rian, Enjoy your galleries. I am from Fla but had the pleasure of going to Colorado this summer and had the pleasure of going to the Garden of the Gods a couple of times. I love your juniper pics of the garden they are excellent. I plan another trip in Dec and will have to try that again. Love your St. Augustine pics too that is one of my favorite places in the area to go... later on, tyree
I'm speechless. Your photographs are stunning, Rian. Amazing.
It's been a while since I check my messages and I saw yours tonight. Thanks for your comments. The last week in October and the first week in November are the best times to catch the fall colors at McKittrick Canyon. And the colors are spectacular. But call the ranger station in mid October to find out when the colors are at their peak. The moose shots were taken in the Grand Teton NP at the Oxbow Bend Turnout, just east of the Jackson Lake Junction. I worked that outlook two sunrisies in a row and got these the second day. That was early October of last year.
I love your Grand Canyon gallery. I hope to backpack it someday.
Keep up the great work.
Great pics, love 'em!
Hi ! Thanks for stopping by in my gallery and leaving comment. I took time to visit your and I have to say that you are the proof that it is not necessary to have a SLR to create great and beautiful images.

Hello, Rian. Thanks for leaving a comment on my gallery. I have seen your gallery before since I am researching for my next trip this October. You have some wonderful shots of parks that I hope to visit in the future. I am planning of going to the eatern Sierra this fall and hope to capture some fall colors around the area between Bishop in the south and Lee Vining in the north. I also did not get into photography until I bought my first digital camera in 2001 and I've been hooked since. Keep up the good work.
Just a little word to tell you how I like your work.
Nice gallery with a wide variety of photos.
