I am donating prints of these images to aid those whose lives were affected by the recent earthquake in the southern region of China. Most of these pictures of children and young adults at work and at play were taken in China and nearby areas of Vietnam in 2005 and 2007.
I will send you an unframed print of any of these pictures in return for a donation to any of the groups working to aid the victims. I would suggest the American Friends Service Committee, Doctors without Borders, and UNICEF as a worthy recipients of donations since they have a long record of providing relief using almost all of the funds that they receive, although there are many other excellent groups working in this area. From my own experience with disasters, the need for donations will increase as the world turns it attention to other problems and the long process of clean-up and rebuilding gets underway.
