This original of this image, an 10" X 12" color painting, was designed by Walt Disney's organization in 1941 especially for the 56th Signal Battalion. Along with this work there also is another color painting of the same size, depicting the Standard Crest of the Battalion. Both of these images are stored at the National Archives in College Park, Maryland, along with other original records of the 56th Signal Battalion from 1941 to 1945.
