Located to the north east of Nottingham, this village is the earliest known place in my family tree. The first known, Hugh Hole, was an early Vicar at St. Andrews Church. Samuel Reynolds Hole was Vicar there at the turn of the last century, and there is a school named after him. His gravestone is among those pictured.
