Maldon is located in central Victoria, about 2 hours by car from Melbourne. An old gold mining town that has not changed much in over a 100 years. Lovely old buildings abound, including schools, churches, grand houses, and quaint cottages. In 1966 the National Trust classified Maldon as a Australia's first "Notable Town".
