Hartford Carousel

These photos were taken at the beautiful Bushnell Park Carousel in Hartford, Connecticut. This carousel dates to about 1914 and was hand carved by Russian immigrants Solomon Stein and Harry Goldstein. The Bushnell is one of only three of their carousels that exist today. The carousel features 36 jumper horses, 12 standing horses, two chariots and a Wurlitzer band organ.
