The number of red-tailed hawks humans have killed (even just by habitat encroachment) is not likely to be balanced by human life-saving interventions. Even with peregrine falcons, where the population has built to healthy levels thanks to human efforts, have not regained their numbers. Thanks for making sure that this victim lived to hunt again! Oh. And, as you know, I'm a *big* fan of your photography. Definitely professional quality.
