This Great Blue Heron was standing on a rock next to the mouth of Pescadero Creek in Pescadero, California. It seemed to be in no hurry to catch breakfast (perhaps it had already eaten) and I had to admire the flexing and stretching ability of the GBH as it went through it's early morning grooming.
