This is an assortment of Mandalas, made of Polymer Clay on Tile. A Mandala is a complex circular design, often used in healing, meditation and/or prayer. Hello Byrd !thanks for all explanations , I learn a lot with you ! gorgeous those mandala I love all you have explain about them , and why they are made!Discovered mandalas when I was younger and still I am afraid for poor Tibet! Just beginning with clay but I print this and when I'll have some more experiences I'll try to make one thinking to you !thanks from a 75 old french gd ma .Someone said : we are old when we forgot the verb "to begin" :-) have a nice day! from Oapiday

An inspiration, absolutely gorgeous, thank you for this. I life in germany and polymer clay is not as popular here as it is in USA, to bad I think it is so much fun to work with it. I am allway looking for tutorials to make canes and other things. best regards from Germany

Wow !!! Your work is absolutely beautiful ! And even more wonderful I find your attitude to share your knowledge ! Thank you very much ! I have never seen polymer clay in that way - my little niece Leonie (5) is starting to make "experiments" with this stuff and now I can show her the most beautiful examples and even read to her, how these mandalas are done. Thank you for sharing this technique. I too have loved mandalas since childhood. My daughter started us down the polymer clay path, and I enjoy making canes, although they can still stand a great deal of improvement. I just hadn't found the right use for them yet. And, now I have stumbled upon your lesson and your beautiful mandalas. I would never have thought to have combined the two myself. I can't wait to go try it out. Thanks again for sharing.

Beautiful work! I've been teaching a class of women how to make canes, and they now have several canes each. Like several others, I found you gallery via PC Polyzine. I've known about mandalas for several years (I used to paint them on T-shirts). I've even contemplated making a quilted one. Wow! I hate being redundant, but I also just read your mandala guidelines in pcpolyzine and can't wait to try them. I've been looking at mandalas in books for several years, but never found such simple and unrestrictive guidelines for creating one. Thank you for sharing this. Your work is beautiful!
