your unknown beetle is a giant eastern eyed click beetle also known as an eyed elator. the 'moth' is actually a kind of butterfly called a skipper, although I'm not sure which species. the antennae can tell you if it's a butterfly or moth, moths have feathery antennae while butterflies have straight antennae with a bead on the end.
