it's a weird feeling walking on the D-day beaches (I'm not from that generation,
mid thirties). of coarse the scenery has changed, but it still get's your emotions going
when realizing what happened here.
Seeing all these cemeteries, and memorials even in the tiniest of villages is
something else.
And they are all kept in immaculate condition, even in 'the middle of nowhere'.
It is heartwarming to see that even today it is still remembered and honoured so much.
