I was doing a search on Efke 25 on pbase and came accross you galleries. Damn they are good, and remind me why sticking with film is the right thing to do. I don't know if you are still around and reading your mail/guest book, but if you are, please accept my real admiration. Quite awesome. I would also like to know what you use to develop your Efke. the smooth tonality you have achieved is what I am looking for (To replace my Polaroid 55 SHEET FILM).Rgds, kal

Hi Regit!
Thank you so much for the effort you put into your informative article on UV photography. I am experimenting with all sorts of old uncoated lenses mounted on a Nikon Bellows in UV photography. I did get the B+W #403 55mm because it will also fit on my Mamiya Press lenses. If you want any info on how to take aurora photography I have an article in my website celestialscenics.com Best- John

I remembered a photo you made of the arches at the University a long time ago Regit, I decided to look for it and found your other website. (I can't leave a comment there.) Apart from any other images your floral work is awesome.

Hi Regit !!! This is really one amazing gallery. You really have such great talents. i extremely like the photos in the people section. keep up the good job.
Abel 28-Dec-2005 13:57
The tigeR ! so-so photos, lacks character. its easy to capture all the right settings, but to capture the essence, that takes experience and time, which unfortunately my friend, you don't have enough of as yet. hope you take this as constructive criticism.

Hie Regit,

I chanced upon your site after viewing those spectacular heligon images. ANd I was surprised that you r based in WA as well. Perhaps sometime we can shoot together. You take unbelievable images... . I'm a Singaporean studying in UWA at this moment. Have a good one.

hello regit,

i have been following the thread on this lens. i have this lens, but i shoot the d100. it does not seem to work on that body. (unless i'm doing something wrong). have you heard of it working on the d100?. if anyone has asked you where to get one, i am willing to part with mine.

thanks for all the great shots and info you share in the forums.

Hi Regit,
It's been awhile I haven't see you on DPREVIEW... Did you stop comming because of all anoying posters who just look for trouble or is it because a lack of time... If there is another forum in which you participate, let me know... I just love your photography and style... So give me some news, Thanks!

I won't go on with the normal.... "oh i love your work" "you are a genius"......... blah blah blah.. I sell photographic equipment for a retail store/lab in Shepparton, Vic and I'm waiting for my D70.. 17-55mm 2.8 to arrive.. prob still another 4 weeks for lens... :( oh well.. anyway. i don't pretend to know even 50% of what there is to know about photography and prob don't have the funds to really learn it to its full extent (you have some impressive equipment). What did catch my eye was reading a post from you which had a quote from Steve Parish.. I do admire his work and i can see some resemblance in your work.. Not a bad thing at all.. I wish one day I will have his enthusiasm and as yours must be... thanks.. soon i will be able to post some of my work on here.. full admiration..

Would be interested in selling me a print? There are a couple that I would consider buying for my girlfriend. Please email me if you will.

Hi Regit,

I've seen some of your photos from your travels and I was particularly interested in the Italian pics. All your other photos are great too. I always enjoy seeing your stuff on dpreview.

My wife and myself have been to France, Italy and Greece last year for 3 months and looking at your pics, they have an amazing resemblance to mine. Very spooky....

When I get my new PC, I'll have to start manipulating all these photos I have. I'll post on dpreview.

On a side note, which part of Australia are you from? I'm from Melbourne, western suburbs. Maybe we can catch up if you live in Melbourne?

Have a great day.

Blaklynx.

Hello Regit,

I'm a software developer but I study art, sculpture and took a photography course a while ago.
Anyway, all instructors always stress framing, compositional elements and character.
You seem to have been born with emense talent, as I see excellent, excellent examples of
these important characteristics of photography. I really enjoyed viewing your photographs.
Very inspiring work.

Hi Regit, your work impressed me a lot! Each of your photos tells a different story. I've really learnt a lot from your work. I just bought a canon ixus 400 too, wish i have your skills in taking pictures.
rodmeister 07-Sep-2003 11:02
Wandered into this gallery from a link at DPR. Impressed with the consistantly interesting images. Your pictures are a very "honest" for the lack of a better word. You take pictures of anything that looks interesting rather than just pictorial - I can see a natural curiosity in the photos.

Your locale, Western Australia helps. Gorgeous country, looks like a nice place to live. Hope to visit someday.

Regit,

These photographs are really great... I teach photography and can certainly say that you have some talent and skill... The reason I sent you this note is also to ask you how you like the Coolpix 5400. I am thinking of purchasing this camera and would be very interested to see what you think of it.

You have some very nice captures. I commented on a few pictures themselves, but there are many more I want to comment on as well. Instead, I'll just leave a message here in the guestbook. Great work.
