Martello Tower

Magilligan Point

The Martello Tower stands in the midst of the dunes, not far away from the Magilligan Point Bar and ferry terminal. It is a simple but impressive construction (build to repel a Napoleonic invasion!). The view of Donegal - where the tower has a twin - is always superb.
