On the 22nd of September 1934 Guy Paquay and Hilaire Jean Thesin crashed with their plane on this same spot in Perk and died.
The tree seems to bring these men back and make them fly forever in the shape of a cross, like caring ghosts, over these village fields that have become for me a special spot of meditation and reflection.
