Message from Salcombe Regatta
Salcombe is a small sheltered harbour on the UK south coast. Our Regatta started in the 1850s and, apart from wartime, has been held every year thereafter. The earliest printed programme which we can find is for 1899.
Some events are virtually the same as then, while new ones have been added. But it remains a week of varied events for the whole family.
More information on the history of Salcombe Regatta and copies of old programmes can be found at Salcombe History Society.
