Located in the Pinhey Forest sector of the Greenbelt, this sand dune is a one of a kind in Ottawa and generally rare in the province. It is being restored and maintained by a group of volunteers to help preserve the habitat and its unique inhabitants like the Ghost Tiger Beetle.
