Exeter Cityscape

Saturday 19th February 2005 - Day 63

I had intended on something else as todays PaD... I still might, but I made a recce trip to a site that I didnt know existed this morning, to see if there was something suitable for a future image. Now, instead of 'just turning up' I have something to refer too.

This is a view over the city of Exeter, with St Thomas's (Left) and Exeter Catherdral (Right) visible, It isnt quite the viewpoint I was planning to use, so I've had to crop out a lot of foreground houses, but I do know where to go, and I already knew (what time) when to go. Now I just need to make it happen.

A good view of the city, I've only ever passed through Exeter on the way to Cornwall.

This is a beautiful view, regardless if you had planned to take the image from another view point. it always amazes me though how similiar the City's in the USA are structured.

We must have by-passed Exeter so many times on our way to other places. Perhaps, next time we should make a point of stopping and seeing what it is like.

That is a beautiful cityscape... the sky is incredible and further enhanced by the greyscale tones. I look forward to seeing other versions of this.
