Rain Stopped Play....

Exeter, Devon view map

Saturday 13th December
Day 1456

ok, this definitely wasn't the picture I intended posting today. Instead of travelling to Suffolk to meet up with other like minded photo folk, I had to turn round because the railways were waterlogged, and therefore no trains running!

So you have a view of the River Exe at Exeter. There should be a path next to the river on the left!

Ah well, hope to get to Suffolk soon!

Wow! Lots of water...hope it doesn't rise too much more or some of those homes will be in danger. Better safe than sorry, Lee. Sorry you had to miss your meet up but we'd rather have you safe and dry than wet and dead!

What a pity to have your pbase weekend washed away. This river is creeping closely up to the bouses here.

But, it's a nice shot of the River! Perhaps Al Gore has something there about Global Warming and changes. Look at us with a snow blizzard in southeastern Louisiana in early December--a record breaker, indeed.

What a disappointment! That river certainly is running high :(
