Clanger Says Farewell

Tuesday 9th December
Day 1452

For those of us of a certain age, growing up in Britain, fond memories have been stirred today with news of the death of Oliver Postgate, the creator of Bagpuss, Pogles Wood, and my personal favourite, The Clangers

"On a planet far away, there lives a civilisation far in advance of ours...."

Another era comes to a close. :( As Pat says, they were gentle programmes.
