Until the Cows Come Home

Palouse Region, Washington

On our second day of our trip to the Palouse, we ended up in Winona. The place is so small, I didn't
catch its name until we coincidentally, and much by accident, drove through it the following day. This
old house, located on Chicken Road, no longer shelters humans, instead it houses a few cows. By the
looks of the Halloween pumpkin tacked to the house, I figure the owners must have a wonderful sense of humor.

Mixed emotions. Some humor. Some sadness.

Funny, and with very handsome tones. I like the way the cow is looking directly at the camera in a defensive stance, as if she's guarding the house. V
