This image was made at the O'Keefe Ranch, just north of Vernon. We were hoping for some beautiful
evening light and a sunset to photograph the heritage buildings. What we got was a storm that blew in
suddenly and a brief rain shower instead. This shot was taken inside of the General Store where we
soaught refuge from the rain. The general store first opened in 1870 and served the people of the area until 1913.
Image was exposed for detail in the window and a shadow adjustment made in PSCS2 to bring out details
in the shadow area. Feivel's Gothic Glow action was added, I desaturated the green area in the window
some and finally cropped off a small amount on the right side to eliminate some of the window and
create a more balanced composition. A small amount of sharpening was applied after resizing it for web posting.
