Whenever I look at this shot taken at Fort Steele Historic Park of the inside of the old school house, the old song, "School Days" starts running through my head. Thankfully I'm not so old to have been actually schooled in a one room school house such as this, but I do remember singing that song as a kid.
The scanned image was leveled in PS, minor adjustments made to match the slide including shadow/highlight, then it was converted to B&W using Thomas Nieman Tones plug-in. Dave's Ethereal Glow filter and Feivel's Gothic Glow were added to create a ghostly/dreamy effect--a reminder of times past, I hope.
