A Shadow of What Once Was II

Bodie, California

It has been a long time since I have visited this collection. The last time we visited Bodie was
over eleven years ago and Barbara was still shooting slide film while I had my first digital SLR and
was shooting only JPGs. The quality of the original digital images are less than ideal. Scanning
slides has become a tiresome endeavour in comparison to our current workflow. I wax the nostalgic in
returning to this gallery. The image is from our visit in 2005.

However you did it, it still looks magnificent. I really like the slightly sepia toned, slightly soft, low contrast look that works so well with with a vintage subject like this. ~BV~
