These are images from the 17th Annual World War II Weekend held at Reading Airport in Reading, Pennsylvania. During the first weekend in June, which is near the anniversary of D-Day (June 6, in case you were wondering), the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum sponsers this historic weekend where they re-create a World War II airbase, complete with reenactors in period uniforms, historic military aircraft, vehicles, equipment, battle re-enactments, and music from the era. You could almost hear Glenn Miller playing "In The Mood" as you walked around the airfield amongst all the reenactors. Enjoy.
