Did you say eight and one-half MONTHS later?? I captured 3 beautifully bright green swallowtails from my parsley plant (I swear, they appeared out of absolutely nowhere!) Two out of 3 make it to the crystalis(sp) stage 2 weeks ago. They are bright green too! Anyway I was getting nervous that they had died inside because nothing has happened. Are you saying it will be April next year before they hatch? what do they do for food all that time? What should I do to shelter them from the elements? They are in a square glass container which is covered with a wire mesh; they are latched on to the side walls of the glass.
