Wow! What an amazing gallery you have! I should confess that I envy the level of
beauty you are able to see in Nature and document.
Going to the main point of this e-mail:
I am a scientist and very involved in science outreach programs. One of the
things we teach to grade school kids is the optical properties of liquid
crystals. It happens so that the way Dogbane Beetles reflect light is very
similar to how liquid crystals do so. Basically, the color reflected depends on
the temperature of the bug or the liquid crystal. You have a great photo showing
this property (I have attached it to this e-mail). Would you give me permission
to use it in advertisement and lectures for teacher and student education
workshops? If you do give me the permission, I will of course reference the
photo and invite everyone to visit your fantastic photos at the website:

I will be looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours,
Yasmin
