Proof is in the pudding: Shot taken with the lens after it was put back together, autofocus on the words Lenspen. I've played around with it and it seems to autofocus fine, images seem fine. I'll give it a good testing type workout this weekend and make sure there's not side to side issues.

I tried this to clean my Sony 18250 zoom lens. It worked but I don't think I screwed down the front element in the exact position I found it. There are three slots for the screws and those slots allow about 1/4 inch rotation clockwise or counter clockwise. What is the signifigance of this leeway?
