I was attached to Delta Co. 3rd MPs I lived at 9 Duc lap St Arrived 6-9-68 I busted a Army deserter that was with NVA S-2 in I Corps everyone involved was trans out to bush. I was kept around because of I guess Chicago street senses. Just the following AM While off duty on the way to my girlfriends job, once again came to apprehend an Army Prison escapee, killed 7 officers during a General Court in 3 Corps. He was shot dead by my Co XO. I was packed off to a Marine Security MACV Quang Tri TAD SOG specialty work . I can go on and on with my exploits for the remainder of my time with Team assignments in QT, Hue City, HoiAn, Tam Ky. and a number Advisory Field Fire Bases. I was wounded twice while on missions with ARVN UNITS as body guarding Fieldgrade Officers while out on OPS Ist ARVN DIV. and 3rd ARVN DIV. SWIM was in Laos and NVIET NAM on Hunt and Kill NVA STAFF OFFICERS and curriers, Payroll clerk on Cu Viet River all piasteres and 5 grand US we kept it all the clerk and his two companions were KIA, my boss an Army Ranger from Big Apple, he was done less a month with his third tour and split the 5 green and the Viet cash was good anywhere. US backed until 1975. Viets that fled country had boxes of cash. What the F were we ther for? I finished my last 90 days with Bravo Co. Security Plt. I was there during AMMO DUMP attacks and fled BN. Perimeter under a Tank from Ist Tanks. My running around ICORPS days was at a minimum. I came in the wire a daybreak and was assigned to a special brig transfer to US BRIG IN SAN DIEGO.

wow this is sad! i feel terrible about those who had lost many of their loved ones during this horrible war. God Bless those who survived this tragic event.

it's amazing to see pic's of Vietnam im 16 and my father was in that war and im happy to still have him with me today this is wonderful God bless
