Would like to see some photos of my dad Buddy Wayne Ellis. He was in the army in Vietnam in 1966 or 1967 he lost his legs there from friendly fire of a rocket or missile.woould love to see some pictures of my dad and here some memories you shared.

My father was in Vietnam in 1966-1969, Him and his buddy was on their way to lunch and a RG mussel or something exploded not sure what it was but it killed his buddy and it off his legs from the knees down. His Name was Buddy Wayne Ellis.If anyone has pictures or served with him I would love to here and see the memories you might have shared.

The photo was taken inside the U S Army's 45th Engineer Group, S-3 (Operations section) hooch (barracks) at Camp Love, located north of the city of Da Nang. Camp Love was a Marine Engineer base camp; only two Army companies were inside of Camp Love's barbed wire, the 45th and an Army EOD company. My wife's picture is on the wall above Richard's left shoulder.
