Hiawassee, GA is one of my most favorite places to visit, especially during the special events. Fantastic shots of people having good, clean fun!!

Our 13 year old daughter loved watching the older crafters and learning trades from the past. She wanted to do everything these wise men could teach her. Take the time to listen to all they can tell--there aren't many of these gentle folks around anymore. WE loved the whole fair and will go back each year!

My grandfather is one of the crafters and he runs the booth number 26. His name is Johnnie and he does wood signs with names ingraved into the wood. I help him in his work and I do names carved out of a solid wood block. If you are comming to the fair this summer I hope you will stop by and see us work. I think you will enjoy it.
