Digital_SLR_Photos

I purchased a digital SLR in mid-April 2008 after several years of digiscoping only. All the photos in this gallery were taken with a Canon 40D camera body and Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS lens. Look for many more photos of birds in flight and all those little flitty birds that I could never adequately capture with my digiscoping equipment. Most of the photos were taken at my home southeast of Grand View, nestled within the Chequamegon National Forest of Bayfield County, Wisconsin.

I think you did real good for your first time out. The fog ones are some favorites.
