Prasat Phimai, Khorat

The restored ruins of the old Prasat Hin Phimai is situated at Tambol Nai Muang, Phimai district some 60km NE of Thailand's second city of Khorat. It is one of the most important Mahayana Buddhist temples in Thailand dating back about 1000 years ago. If you are interested in Thai history and ancient ruins then this is a place you must visit.
