This Fungi can most often be noticed by the blue-green staining it creates on bare wood of broad-leaf trees(favouring Oak)The green/blue stained wood was used by Tunbridge ware in the colouring of their intricate patterns.But the fruiting bodies seen in this image are infrequent.
