2 weeks prior to 2 Sep, I had my mind set for going to Tokyo alone and envisioning myself wandering in the streets at a cross section, not knowing where to go. Then I bumped into Belly in Tokyo! No that was a lie, but she was going there for the weekend with her family just when I decided to go that week too! So I told her maybe we could meet up for coffee in Tokyo, you know one of those quick hi-bye what have you been up to 10 min coffee sessions, and she moves on with her life, and I continue my rendition of Lost in Translation. She decided to ignore my stupidity and obsession with loneliness and we ended up hanging out....so we wandered in the streets, this time knowing where to go, together with Mountain (can you hear echos??), and met a whole bunch of her very very cool friends from MSU, ate a lot of unbelievable fishies and a truck load of kyoto beef (so much that there is finally truth to the saying: we ate "till the cows ran home" oops i meant gone... anyway you get the point.. we ate so much that the cows are scared of us.... and best of all, we bought so much clothes that even "B So" will be ashamed of herself! A short 4 day trip that has been long overdue since Vegas... this one will sure bring back lots of memories! (especially Belly since she loves tak..e out)- Remember...in tokio, you gotta say "Wah!-fu-lus" instead of Waffles.... and when you do the victory sign, you need to close in your 2 fingers (see Addidas USA pic from store keeper lady)
and if you haven't figured by now.... and if you haven't been seeing me much in real life (like years)... i think i can walk faster now!
nice gallery filled with lots of emotions for you, I'm sure. I like the gallery explanation and the "continue my rendition of Lost in Translation" quote. There's just something about Tokyo...
