We started off the trip knowing from weather forecasts that Koh Samui will have thunderstorms all week long, but it ended up that we had the sun every day! Typical of HK peasants behaviour, we were the loudest everywhere we went and we haggled each expense down to the last penny. 60% of the taxi drivers must have recognised us by now as me and Olly walked out twice on two drivers after failing to low ball them another 10 baht on the fare- ($2 HKD!). For principle purposes we walked another half kilometer to show our discontent on rural roads @ temperatures of 35 degrees, after which we decided to go back and beg for a ride at the original price... so yeung sui

We have discovered many new things on this trip. The biggest discovery is that Olly is an actor- a professional one, so professional that we don't have to attach the word professional to his title. This has caused some rivalry between Olly and KL, who is in real life, a professional actress whom almost got a role on HBO. One night while we were all watching HBO, KL said we could see her on the Tele, and Olly said we could see her only because of her mirror reflection in front of the TV glass panel....(you could tell they lived in separate rooms). We played charades @ the Nora pool and also practiced synchronised swimming like in the Olympics. Olly told us that in order to be a good synchronised swimmer, you've gotta smile above water!- which we did at the Nora Pool and were given weird stares from everyone. Next time you see him, please ask him to roleplay Wizard of Oz and also do acting on being "sleepless"

We've also discovered that we are of the hybrid breed of blue blood wannabes and tried hard to spend a blue blood style holiday (and sorta failed since we are peasants afterall) and a big fan of reciting Initial D screenplays.
