This is a great photo of a Philippine macaque, a monkey I once had as a pet many years ago. I'm writing about it and other animals I knew as a boy in the Philippines—writing a story for a small town regional newspaper and would like very much to have permission to use this portrait, with full credit to you.

Macaques are really sweet.. especially the babies. They are also playful and smart. I believe they have a high sense of memory.. and come to trust people once they are accustomed to you. Macaques react to people's reaction to them quite fairly - they tend to "imitate".. Just looking at people's eyes, macaques know how someone feel about them and they react just the same.. (meaning, when you fear them, they will also fear you.. and when you fight them, they will do just the same).. What else can I say..? This photo looks very much like my Kyx. :0)
