To Alli, the Sweetest Dog that I have ever known. The world is a colder place without you today. So if I have a million dreams, I'll always dream of you.

Toasty's Alligator Alley: March 8,1999 to April 3, 2008.
You are deeply missed

Your words brought tears to my eyes. Any of us who have known the love of a special dog will be able to understand how you felt when you lost Alli. I don't know how anyone can survive without a dog in their life. They really know how to grab your heart, don't they? Did Alli have cancer? That seems to be so common among goldens.

It's very sad to lose such a beautiful and loyal companion. We lost Molly two years ago and it took a while to get past the sadness and the grieving. I love your caption!

A golden beauty in golden light. What a treasured shot. So sorry for your loss.

Sweet face, goldens are such great dogs...sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose a pet as they are a member of the family, and one who is so forgiving.

And when Jesus rose on that Easter morn
How happy He would have been
As His dog kissed His hands and barked its delight
For The One who died for all men.

Well, the Lord has a dog now, I just sent Him mine
The old pal so dear to me
And I smile through my tears on this first day alone
Knowing they're in eternity.

Day after day, the whole day through
Wherever my road inclined
Four feet said, "I am coming with you!"
And trotted along behind.
