Thanks Barbara, for your nice comments on my images. The old log barn image has been one of my favorite subjects over the years, I've taken may images of it in all type of conditions and this particular one has been on of my favorites...
The morning I took that foggy image the light and mist was perfect. I could not get enough image.

Thanks for the compliment on our images Parks.We have stayed away from modding the 40D for we like the natural colours that the camera produces.
Your photos are some of the best I have seen with a DSLR. DSLR cameras really give the true color as the eye would see it. When you take out IR blocking filters the colors are not real but false colors and are like looking at the bones in your feet through an xray. They are real but not like the eye would see it.
