Einige Male im Jahr fliegt noch eine Junkers 52 vom Rheinland in die Schweiz. Im August 2006 konnte ich mitfliegen. Es ist ein Flug wie in den frühen 30er Jahren, als die Ju 52 eingeführt wurde. Die Instrumente sind modern aber die Motoren sind original. Die Reisegeschwindigkeit betraegt ca. 190 km/h.

A few times a year an historic Junkers 52 still flies from the Rhineland about 500 km to it's base in Switzerland. I was able to be a passenger in August 2006. It is a flight like in the early 1930's when the "Ju 52" was put in service. The instruments are modern but the motors are still the original BMW 650 hp. The cruising speed is a breathtaking 190 km/h (approx. 120 mph).
