I was very pleased to recall memories of Francisca Barracks, and very sad to see them in such a delapidated state. I served in these barracks in 1952-54 and have many fond memories of the place and its people. I used to walk to the Optician in St. Tonis to buy my spectacles and I remember his kindness and tolerance for my awful use of German - I am still no better! Thank you so much for these pictures.
